Nice to meet you

We’re the Brain Ninjas

We’re two classroom teachers who shared one room for 10 years. Between us, we have over 45 years of teaching experience, including years spent teaching teachers through professional development.

We make resources that get students thinking, creating and moving, so you can save your prep time and just teach.

How it all started

It started in a closet. We were mad at our principal (like, really mad), so we hid out with a bag of chocolate-covered almonds and started planning our escape. The plan? Open a school for orphans. The problem? Neither of us had won the lottery.

So we did the next best thing. Completely by accident, we opened a TpT store. Our very first sale earned us a whopping $1.06. That resource is still in our store today, although it’s had a few makeovers since then.

Somewhere along the way, we realized something. We love sharing what works in our classroom with other teachers. And if we’re being honest, we’re pretty darn good at it.

Why “Brain Ninjas”?

Because the best learning sneaks up on you.

The name started with a box of challenges we kept in our classroom for early finishers and keeners. Students would grab a challenge and, before they knew it, they were learning. The box stuck around, and so did the name.

We write for Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan, with Manitoba and the rest of Canada on the way. We list the specific outcomes for each province, so you know exactly where a resource fits.
